Summary: Consider allowing the nohref attribute on area
                    elements
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: Macintosh
               URL: http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/the-map-element#the-area-
                    element
                OS: Mac System 9.x
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: a11y
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: HTML5 spec
          Assignee: dave.null@w3.org
          Reporter: xn--mlform-iua@xn--mlform-iua.no
        QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html-admin@w3.org,
                    public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org,
                    xn--mlform-iua@xn--mlform-iua.no
        Depends on: 13814

Whenever an <area> element has an @alt attribute but does not have a @href
attribute, the validator screams that @href is lacking.

Thus, @nohref is needed to signal to the validator that the the curren element
is not meant to have a href attribute.
