https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24685

            Bug ID: 24685
Summary: unsure this advice is good
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML5 spec
          Assignee: dave.null@w3.org
          Reporter: faulkner.steve@gmail.com
        QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-admin@w3.org,
                    public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org

"Generally, image maps should be used instead of slicing an image for links."
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/embedded-content-0.html#a-group-of-images-that-form-a-single-larger-picture-with-links

given the poor across the board support for image map fallback, consider
removing this advice.
