This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to approve the following exit criteria for the HTML5 Image Description Extension (longdesc) specification[1] can be considered interoperable: >> The Criteria to exit Candidate Recommendation will be that there is a >> test suite that adequately covers the "must" requirements of the >> specification, with results showing that each requirement is implemented >> by at least two independently implemented publicly released user agents. Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged.
