The director of the W3C has still not responded to the objections raised to the EME and thus I believe it is completely inappropriate to be publicly advancing this version of the EME specification. It is certainly not the wishes of the vast majority of the open web community, nor the work of the open web community, and attempting to pass it off as such will cause signification damage. Please withdraw the publication of the specification immediately to avoid causing irreparable damage to the open web community. This select and narrow group is welcome to do as it wish in the back rooms, but this work should not be surfacing here. Paul, a Chair of the HTML grouping group should know better. You do not have the confidence of the open web community. Could you please resign and move on. cheers, Fred > From: Paul.Cotton@microsoft.com > To: robdolin@microsoft.com; mike@w3.org > CC: rubys@intertwingly.net; public-html-admin@w3.org > Date: Mon, 23 Sep 2013 22:49:53 +0000 > Subject: RE: CfC: to publish two revised heartbeat Working Drafts > > > 1.Using WAI-ARIA in HTML > > > > http://htmlwg.org/heartbeat/WD-aria-in-html-20130822/ > > This document can now be published since the PF WG has now confirmed their support in: > http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-admin/2013Sep/0072.html > > /paulc > HTML WG co-chair > > Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada > 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 > Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Sam Ruby [mailto:rubys@intertwingly.net] > Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2013 12:05 AM > To: public-html-admin@w3.org > Subject: Re: CfC: to publish two revised heartbeat Working Drafts > > This CfC passes. > > - Sam Ruby > > On 08/14/2013 06:52 AM, Paul Cotton wrote: > > This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to publish the following two > > revised heartbeat [1] Working Drafts: > > > > 1.Using WAI-ARIA in HTML > > > > http://htmlwg.org/heartbeat/WD-aria-in-html-20130822/ > > > > 2.Public Identifiers for entity resolution in XHTML > > > > http://htmlwg.org/heartbeat/WD-xhtml-pubid-20130822/ > > > > Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive > > responses are encouraged.
