pie chart not dependant on colour legend

I try to get people not to use colour based legends... unless there is a visual
data table below it...

or to use patterns, but then the little squares in the legend would have to be
big enough to reveal the pattern.

I've attached a suggestion ... could create a version to match the example
already there
