Subject: CfC: Publish "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" as a WG Note

The HTML Chairs are issuing a Call for Consensus to publish the "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" as a WG Note.

The candidate WG Note document can be found here:

In March 2015 [1] the HTML WG agreed to publish a first public working draft (FPWD) of "HTML Accessibility API Mappings 1.0" [2] to replace the older "HTML to Platform Accessibility APIs Implementation Guide" [3]. This CfC is meant to publish the older out of date material as a WG Note and to redirect users of the older document [3] to the newer document at [2].

Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Thursday Sep 24, this resolution will carry.

Given the expansion of related efforts
following on the conclusion of ARIA 1.0 (and of HTML 5.0), it is proposed to
leave this older document as is, published as a note, with pointers to the new
work that supercedes it.
