Hi, this is a call for consensus on a formal TF response to the HTML plan <http://darobin.github.io/after5/html-plan.html>. Note that individuals are also free to make personal comments, and I believe the editor gratefully accepts Pull Requests through github… Please reply before end of day Sunday 8 February, stating whether you agree or not that the TF should formally make each of the following comments: 1. Please ensure that HTML WG Task Forces, as well as CGs, can produce "input specs" 2. Please maintain the sense of the text that points out groups need to ensure proper accessibility (and other) review of their work if they are bringing it to HTML in the hope of "fast track" adoption: "CGs that produce Final Specifications can bring them to the HTML WG as a way to get them to Recommendation relatively efficiently, provided they have undergone credible levels of review, notably horizontal review (I18N, A11Y, etc.) which naturally includes a reasonable amount of testing" 3. Please maintain the possibility for filing bugs directly with the HTML Working Group - especially for things which are not in the what-wg's specifications. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathie Nevile - web standards - CTO Office, Yandex chaals@yandex-team.ru - - - Find more at http://yandex.com
