> Should this bug be fixed during the longdesc CR period? If it is a bug, it isn't a bad idea to deal with it. The IDL attribute should be in line with the one in HTML - except that with the longdesc spec, longdesc is not obsolete. I'll be talking to Robin later today, and I'd like his opinion before I try to suggest how this should be closed. cheers > /paulc > > Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada > 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 > Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 > > -----Original Message----- > From: bugzilla@jessica.w3.org [mailto:bugzilla@jessica.w3.org] > Sent: Monday, August 25, 2014 5:39 AM > To: public-html-admin@w3.org > Subject: [Bug 26653] New: Remove .longdesc IDL attribute > > https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26653 > > Bug ID: 26653 > Summary: Remove .longdesc IDL attribute > Product: HTML WG > Version: unspecified > Hardware: PC > OS: All > Status: NEW > Severity: normal > Priority: P2 > Component: HTML Image Description Extension > Assignee: chaals@yandex-team.ru > Reporter: simonp@opera.com > QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org > CC: public-html-admin@w3.org > > HTML spec already has .longDesc IDL attribute. > http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/obsolete.html#dom-img-longdesc > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You are on the CC list for the bug.
