If it is a bug, it isn't a bad idea to deal with it.

The IDL attribute should be in line with the one in HTML - except that with the longdesc spec, longdesc is not obsolete.

I'll be talking to Robin later today, and I'd like his opinion before I try to suggest how this should be closed.
