Old action items...

Hi, this is ACTION-149 (Clean up the action items in tracker). I have
looked through the open action items, and here is what I suggest for
everything that is more than 3 months overdue.

Note that http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/HTML/track/actions/NUMBER will give the
item mentioned...

There are some outstanding actions where I think the assignee, or someone
who knows the question well, should tell us whether it is still relevant -
and if they expect to do it, or if we should be looking for someone else
to take it on:

Chaals (oops)
144 - check whether we should be looking at accesskeys as an issue.
I think this action is still important, and I will push it up my priority
list...

Cynthia
89 - address how ARIA-autocomplete and HTML autocomplete relate to AAPI
142 - file HTML bug on methods that should fail when an element has
@hidden set

Gez
118 - review drag and drop and compare HTML and ARIA models

Gregory
101 - email ARIA caucus to request modal attribute.

JohnF
136 - revisit controls vs no controls

MichaelC
138 - find/set up a W3C location to keep a current version of jquery

Rich
131 - Write whitepaper on ARIA features that seem similar to HTML features
but aren't

SeanH
109 - file bug on cues that come out of order

There are a lot of actions that I think are no longer relevant, or have
been completed. I suggest that we can simply close the following Actions:

22 - Organise joint discussion of testing task force and a11y task force.
Due 2011-05-31

75, 77-80 are for SteveF, Cynthia and Rich to update change proposals for
old bugs on ARIA mapping which seems to have been done but is in any case
obsolete

80-83 are likewise apparently completed relevant actions on Frank and Rich
with regards to canvas.

91,92 are for Rich to review Charles' canvas draft and write a high-level
explanation of what is needed. I believe these have been done.

99 is for Janina to annotate a bug on media tracks, and seems to have been
overtaken by events.

105 - review bugzilla accessibility - Gregory.

110, 112, 115-7 are bugs relating to processing of HTML ISSUEs that are
now obsolete.

121-5 are to follow up obsolete bugs

132-135 are for various people to talk to various others about bugs, and
appear to have either been done or overtaken by events

137 Review what HTML says about clicking. I did this, and concluded that
what the spec says is pretty much fine
http://www.w3.org/mid/op.woxcr7qoy3oazb%2540chaals.local

139, 140 - proposing comments that are now obsolete.

Cheers

Chaals
