Hi, I published http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-proposals/raw-file/b63325998cc1/longdesc1/longdesc.html - an extension proposal for HTMl5. Te idea of this is to complete an extension specification as fast as possible with minimum fuss. So it merely reincorporates the longdesc attribute of HTML4 for the image element, as implemented. In order to be nice to the world, it doesn't make normative requirements on user agents' behaviour, just "should" statements. cheers Chaals -- Charles McCathie Nevile - Consultant (web standards) CTO Office, Yandex chaals@yandex-team.ru Find more at http://yandex.com
