https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=18384 Edward O'Connor <eoconnor@apple.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |LATER --- Comment #10 from Edward O'Connor <eoconnor@apple.com> 2012-10-02 22:33:55 UTC --- EDITOR'S RESPONSE: This is an Editor's Response to your comment. If you are satisfied with this response, please change the state of this bug to CLOSED. If you have additional information and would like the Editor to reconsider, please reopen this bug. If you would like to escalate the issue to the full HTML Working Group, please add the TrackerRequest keyword to this bug, and suggest title and text for the Tracker Issue; or you may create a Tracker Issue yourself, if you are able to do so. For more details, see this document: http://dev.w3.org/html5/decision-policy/decision-policy.html Status: Rejected Change Description: No spec change. Rationale: There are now a couple of extension specifications being actively pursued by members of the WG which address this feature request: http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-proposals/raw-file/tip/responsive-images/responsive-images.html http://dev.w3.org/html5/srcset/ Instead of trying to separately address this feature in HTML5, we should wait for one or both of the extension specifications meet the CR exit criteria. This is why I've resolved this as LATER, instead of moving the bug into the HTML.next component (as we've been doing with other feature requests). -- Configure bugmail: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
