Dear HTML Chairs, Working Group, A11Y Task Force, and Protocols & Formats Colleagues: I would like to draw your attention to two additional Change Proposals for Issue-204. These two additional proposals resemble each other closely, but we, the HTML-A11Y Task Force, have not yet succeeded in merging them into a single proposal. Nevertheless, as CPs are due today, I want to bring them both to your attention at this time. 1.) We have a proposal authored on behalf of WAI Protocols and Formats WG by Cynthia Shelly: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/Correct_Hidden_Attribute_Section_v2 Please note that this proposal addresses markup examples, use cases, and other concerns which were raised by all the other CPs on this Issue of which we're aware. 2.) We have a Change Proposal based on John Foliot's proposal, further refined by Laura Carlson at: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/CorrectHidden#UAIG Please note that we expect John will be withdrawing his CP in deference to Laura's.
