The following bugs have been marked Won't Fix and I believe should be discussed by the Task Force.

Bug 14419 – when canvas isn't supported, or for blind users, the canvas element's content should be displayed, so excluding input types like text and select

Agreed, devs will implement (have implemented?) these elements in Canvas. I'm not sure why we think that devs won't try to make a better select, when Javascript UI libraries do this (see http://harvesthq.github.com/chosen/).

Bug 13727 – regarding "phrase or paragraph with an alternative graphical representation"

Use case for @longdesc or equivalent. Structured data is not always available, particularly when dealing with images, or wire-frames, of structured data.
