RE: FW: [Bug 10525] New: Please try to improve Bugzilla's accessibility/usability problems before Last Call

Part of the accessibility/usability issue is that Bugzilla currently
destroyes non-ISO-8859-1 characters.

This is related to the fact that the Bugzilla installation currently
uses ISO-8859-1 as its character encoding. Since we are issuing a spec
which encourages everyone to use UTF-8 and which also warns against
problems related to forms when UTF-8 isn't used, perhaps that could be
fixed as part of Laura's request/bug?

Ways to meet this: EITHER set bugzilla up to serve pages as UTF-8.
AND/OR make sure that form input is treated as UTF-8. If none of that
is possible, the please do at least warn users against typing in
non-ISO-8859-1 character in input.
