I agree.  Can we look at (a) alternative text (b) (shudder) long description
and (c) connection to a transcript, for time-based resources, and only then ask
if the poster needs special support?  As I said, the poster is basically there
to be a proxy for the media resource, and I am not enthusiastic about the need
for alternatives for proxies for resources (and not hopeful that they will be
understood and used well).
