It is important to be able to convey programmatically to assistive technology that an image is presentational and not of interest. OUTCOMES OF FIXING THE BUG: * Indicates to assistive technology that these images purely decorative [2] visual enhancements, decorations or embellishments that provide no function or information beyond aesthetic to users who can view the images. They have no meaning in themselves and do not provide page content [3] so they can safely be skipped. * Provides a validity option for images that are purely presentational. * Is in accord with Accessibility Coordination Group's "Consensus Resolutions on Text alternatives in HTML 5".
