In case you missed it, Google announced yesterday it will add support by
the end of the month for Responsive Design in Gmail and Inbox by Gmail.
This means support for <style> tags, media queries, classes and ids, plus a
lot of new properties.

It is unclear yet if all versions of Gmail will be impacted (like Google
Apps for Work, or Gmail for Android using third parties addresses). But
this is really a great news and a major advancement for email standards.
