G'day.
I'm a consultant and have worked on Internet technical standards since
the 70s, mostly email.
One document that might be worth pointing to, for this group's
discussion is [EMAILARCH].
An effort to bring (more) order to the chaos of html in email is
encouraging. I hope it can lead to some standardization specs or
profiles that get used.
