Hello Team, Domains ------- As noted earlier I've registered these two domains: - [http://www.html-tidy.org](http://www.html-tidy.org) - [http://www.htacg.org](http://www.htacg.org) They're working, the A records and CNAMEs are now pointing to our github pages, and DNS propagation appears to be complete in my part of the world. Github Pages ------------ The URLs above route to our github pages. Anyone is free to modify and/or issue PRs against them. The HTACG organization page is in htacg.github.io/master The HTML Tidy page is in htacg.github.io/gh-pages Logos ------ Marcos Caceres (@marcoscaceres) has proposed a new logo ( https://github.com/htacg/community/issues/1). Don't worry, Marcos, it's not bikeshedding, because instead of running tests and trying to sort things out, I've committed some proposed logos for both HTML Tidy and HTACG ( https://github.com/htacg/community/tree/master/proposals_logos). Both Illustrator sources and SVGs available if you want to take a stab at improving them. Although we should have a version 5.0.0 in the next two weeks (see previous list messages), we should be prepared for for this "new launch" with updated media and refreshed content. I'll use a generic filler logo for the time being. Because the W3C HTACG site no longer supports polls, I'll just assume that no one has objections by time 5.0.0 is merged to master, and use my proposals for launch. (Yes, that's a challenge. Become engaged!) Media ----- I'm probably the weakest pure-C person around, and although not a designer by trade I can handle most of the work of the two websites. I'll use a generic filler logo in the meantime (see above). Does anyone on this list have any good experience with social media? Or know someone with good experience? Consistent with planning for a new, stable, 5.0.0 release, it would be good to tell the world, "Hey!, HTML Tidy isn't dead." Things like Slashdot, Hacker News, etc., might bring some good attention and immediately come to mind, but there may be other places that don't occur to me. -- --- Jim Derry Clinton Township, MI, USA Nanjing, Jiangsu, China PRC
