Dear all, I collaeague of mine gave me great paper the other day. Informatics: The Fuel For Pharmacometric Analysis http://www.aapsj.org/view.asp?art=aapsj0901008 The paper do not mention semantic web technoligies as such but in a nice way describes current situation as a "combination art and science" getting clinical data together for: "Model-based development uses the sciences of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and statistics to create mathematical equations to create representations ("models") of the putative links between treatments and observed effects." The paper conclude that a Ontology for Pharmacometrics would be one of the means to turn what "is an art into a science". The last author listed for this paper is also the key persom behind the workshop Stephen, Eric and myself are attending today and tomorrow: Workshop on Clinical Trial Ontology http://www.bioontology.org/wiki/index.php/Workshop_on_Clinical_Trial_Ontology Regards, Kerstin
