Yes, so the HL7 example wouldn't work in this way: it uses a URI naming scheme that does not resolve. However, I would suggest against using any other namespace URI (as a proxy) since the current one is very authoritative. It is a touchy point, because demonstrating the value proposition of GRDDL for HL7 CDA (widely deployed and federally mandated in some hospitals) is difficult since it is a closed XML schema with a URN-based namespace.
