Per my actions to add [1] #error1 to the test cases and an approval [2] link for #embedded-rdf4, I have made the necessary changes to the editor's draft. I ended up breaking out an appendix (moving the references, acknowledgements, and changelog there) and added a section for this index. Each section has a link to the appropriate rule / normative assertion in the specification. This section is a bit verbose as most tests exercise multiple rules. In addition, on each test, I list the rules they exercise (directly under the input/output links) with links to the appropriate section in the appendix. A top-level section describing the test coverage convention was also added. Note, not all the normative assertions / rules are listed as some of them are redundant (WRT test coverage): ".., not all the rules are listed here as some are redundant. For example, #rule_metadata_profile_name is covered by Identifying Metadata Profile Transformations." I also elaborated a bit on the "Testing Faithful Infosets" section, clarifying the exact relationship between the XInclude tests and the Faithful Infoset paragraph in the specification (with appropriate links directly into the XML Infoset, XInclude, and XProc specifications to aid implementers). This was guided by recent conversation on this topic. The #xinclude test has a diagram showing the exact relationship between an XInclude / XML processor and a GRDDL-aware agent (for implementations which pass this test). There is an editorial question as to whether an explicit XProc snippet should be added for the #noxinclude test to demonstrate exactly how XProc could be used to expand the XInclude directive *after* GRDDL passes off the source to the transform. I didn't add such a snippet, but left a note. CVS log: [[ Broke out a new appendix. Added references/ack/changelog to it. Added a Test Coverage section in the appendex. Added a section describing the test coverage e nomenclature. "tagged up" each test with GRDDL rule terms. Elaborated on Faithful Infoset testing and the XInclude tests (added diagram). Added approval link for embedded-rdf4. Added approved test (error1) ]] -- revision 1.43 date: 2007/06/04 18:55:09; author: cogbuji; [1] http://www.w3.org/2007/05/30-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action01 [2] http://www.w3.org/2007/05/30-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action06 [3] http://www.w3.org/2007/05/30-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action13 -- Chimezie Ogbuji Lead Systems Analyst Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Cleveland Clinic Foundation 9500 Euclid Avenue/ W26 Cleveland, Ohio 44195 Office: (216)444-8593 ogbujic@ccf.org =================================== Cleveland Clinic is ranked one of the top 3 hospitals in America by U.S.News & World Report.
