RESOLUTION: to approve minutes 1 Nov
PROPOSED: to meet again 22 Nov
RESOLUTION: to meet again 22 Nov, Ian d. to scribe
<scribe> ACTION: iand to review Murray's suggested intro [CONTINUES [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action01]
<scribe> ACTION: iand to review Murray's suggested intro [CONTINUES] [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action02]
DanC: Ian, pls note Brian M's comments on the intro while you're at it
DanC: pending_tests include "be robust in the face of unknown serializations", "you may support turtle"
<HarryH> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/#charter_history
http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/#sched
DanC: the "no CR" plan assumes having tests concurrent with resolving issues; we're not going as fast as I'd hope
Harry: I can contact everybody about thier work list
Murray: maybe you could put together a work list and schedule.
Harry: well, the agenda is supposed to work that way, but actions are lastingn longer than a week
<scribe> ACTION: Harry to update weekly agenda with durations/dates/schedule info [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action03]
<scribe> ACTION: chimezie to develop test case to demonstrate both sides of the issue with #issue-output-formats [CONTINUES] [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action04]
<scribe> ACTION: DannyA to elaborate on issue-mt-ns, in particular RDF not labelled as application/rdf+xml. [DONE] [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action05]
<scribe> ACTION: DanC to notifiy TAG of interaction between issue-mt-ns and TAG issues on mime types and namespaces [DONE] [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action06]
<HarryH> TAG: "Follow your nose" solution seems to be generally accepted to TAG
<HarryH> By "follow your nose" we mean that triples should be in the GRDDL result document for DanC's test case.
<HarryH> Murray: "Follow your nose" - if you can follow URIs to find new information you need, good for you
<HarryH> DanC: Just given MIME-type and content, should your GRDDL result doc have triples?
<HarryH> DanC: Currently test suite says "no" and DanC thinks he's wrong, TAG agrees.
http://www.w3.org/2004/01/rdxh/spec#issue-mt-ns
<HarryH> So we've had a third bullet.
<HarryH> PROPOSAL: RDF/XML statements labelled as application/xml constitute a "document whose meaning includes the RDF statement ..."
<HarryH> DanC doesn't like that wording.
<HarryH> So he suggests we postpone
PROPOSAL: the GRDDL result of an RDF/XML document served as application/xml is the graph specified by the RDF syntax spec
DanC: yes, I'll move the XProc bullet from issue-mt-ns to issue-whichlangs
<HarryH> Chime: prefers to use the word "parse" rather than the more abstract graph.
<scribe> ACTION: Harry and Brian to rewrite second part of primer to use Brian and Dan's instance data. [CONTINUES] [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action07]
Harry: we can check in what we've got
http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/testlist1#title_author
<iand> http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/titleauthor.html
Revision: 1.6 $ of $Date: 2006/11/15 16:41:54
output is http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/titleauthor-output.rdf
PROPOSED: to approve http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/testlist1#title_author incl http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/titleauthor.html 1.7 and http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/titleauthor-output.rdf 1.3 of 2006/11/07 06:48:58
"These test don't involve namespace documents, so they're easy to run offline." should say something about relative URIs and bases
<scribe> ACTION: IanD to study http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/grddl-wg/td/testlist1#title_author [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action08]
<scribe> ACTION: Harry to send info about WWW2007 GRDDL tutorial [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2006/11/15-grddl-wg-minutes.html#action09]
HH: there has been a suggestion to combine the GRDDL tutorial with an RDFa tutorial; I'm not sure about that
