Fwd: Invitation to CIS 5650 GPU Programming Final Project Presentations

The UPenn CIS 5650 (née CIS 565) GPU Programming & Architecture course
(which was taken by 3 members of Google's WebGPU team and has had guest
lecturers from at least 7) is having its final project presentations this
coming Monday, Dec 11. I guarantee there will be some great stuff there.
The students have ~4 WebGPU projects, plus Vulkan, CUDA, and more. Here's
the invite:

Hello Friends of CIS 5650 GPU Programming at Penn,

I hope this message finds you well. I am thrilled to share that we are
approaching the culmination of another exceptional semester in GPU
Programming, showcasing the remarkable Final Projects created by our
students.

This year's final projects <https://cis565-fall-2023.github.io/projects/>
span a diverse array of topics, including real-time rendering with mesh
shader and NVIDIA Optix, LLM, interactive terrain, WebGPU, UE5, and more.
What makes this semester particularly special is that it marks my first
time instructing the course, with invaluable support from Shehzan.

The students and I are excited to present their achievements during the
upcoming Final Project Presentations. We cordially invite you to join us
for this event on *Monday, December 11, from 5:15 to 7:30 pm ET*. The
presentations will be conducted in a hybrid format, offering both live
streaming over Zoom and an in-person option at Penn (Towne 337).

The invitation contains detailed information for both the Zoom and
in-person attendance. For those attending in-person, a dinner will be
arranged following the Final Project Presentations, and we would be
delighted to have you join us for this occasion.

Should you have any questions or require further information, please feel
free to reach out to me. I look forward to your presence on Monday and
sincerely appreciate your ongoing support for CIS 5650 over the years.
