Agree, definitely a good thing to point out. I can foresee issues where security practitioners will say they need both, but as the post points out, it is better to give options.
Since fields like Address 1 and Address 2 are already common, I would suggest to go with “name 1” and “name 2”. Whereas only one field should ever be required. Some people may only have 1 name.
