This comment below is an essential consideration. Plain language would be a good starting point. However, in most countries  and languages this meets less than 50% of readers skills and needs. Our area of expertise is Easy English or Easy {[your language}. It is content for adults written to an average grade 1.5 reading skill level. But importantly there is no assumed knowledge, and no inclusion of words which the general community would consider technical.

Hi everyone,

 

Just to follow up on Jan’s 2nd task, the WCAG3 - Outcomes - Internationalization Feedback.

 

I went through it in about 40 minutes and found a lot to be concerned about. The language as it stands is too complicated for people who do not have an academic background and / or are not native English speakers.

This is a good change to get a say into what could be done better.

 

Please do take the time out of your busy schedule. It will help make the final product better for everyone :D

* Once your personal tab is set up in the Google Sheet titled, "WCAG3 - Outcomes - Internationalization Feedback," please review and provide feedback on outcomes listed under "Text and Wording," rows 129 - 154.
* Please be sure to provide your feedback on your personal tab and not on the template tab.
