Hello All, Please note that the agenda has been updated on the wiki: https://www.w3.org/2008/geolocation/wiki/2015-10-F2F. There has been an adjustment, as the Multimodal Interaction WG has requested time to discuss the addition of a <location> element to EMMA: http://www.w3.org/TR/emma20/. -Giri Mandyam, Geolocation WG Chair From: Mandyam, Giridhar [mailto:mandyam@qti.qualcomm.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 06, 2015 4:19 AM To: public-geolocation@w3.org; public-automotive Cc: DAP (public-device-apis@w3.org) Subject: Joint meeting: Geolocation and Automotive Working Groups, TPAC 2015, October 27, 2015 Hello All, There will be a joint meeting between the Geolocation and Automotive Working Groups at the upcoming TPAC, to be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 10 AM to 12 PM local time. The meeting will be hosted by the Automotive WG, but members of both working groups can attend. Observers should go through the usual process of requesting permission to attend from either WG Chair. The proposed agenda is: * API Style * Opinion about Vehicle Info/Data API * Using Geolocation API inside vehicle * Overlaps between Geolocation and Automotive * LBS use cases The DAP WG is being CC'ed, as there are efforts around the Generic Sensor API (https://github.com/w3c/sensors) to examine whether this effort can accommodate geolocation use cases. Look forward to seeing you at TPAC. -Giri Mandyam, Geolocation Working Group Chair -Paul Boys and Adam Abramski, Automotive Working Group Co-Chairs.
