Hello, of course "markPosition" is an abstraction, which is dependent of the actual application. But normally there is something like a "map" or "display" in any form and "marking a position" can be considered as a very basic operation. If there is no "display" (is there a case?), the functions would have no effect. On the other hand one can say the these functions should be defined somewhere else. But the examples in the WD could be implemented without knowledge of the client application in a very generic way! Last point: I am interested in connecting geo-locations with URIs which would open the door to Semantic Web applications. Greetings -- Dr. Michael Hedenus Pixel GmbH
