Most of the interpolation procedures moved to V&U and the ones that didn't fit there we stuck in an appendix in Web Animations: https://drafts.csswg.org/web-animations-1/#animation-types So maybe rect ended up living somewhere else. I wonder if `<rect>` defined as a CSS type anywhere?
