Hi, a few comments on the use of 'unrestricted double' in the Geometry spec, particularly in the interfaces intended to supersede some of the SVG DOM interfaces. It looks to me like SVG will need some wording for dealing with non-finite values, I couldn't find anything regarding that in the SVG spec. What should happen (rendering-wise) when you assign an object that contains non-finite values to some svg element's attribute? Should the assignment go through, but SVG treat it as if it wasn't specified? If so, on reading the value back should it return the lacuna value or the value that was assigned even if it's malformed? -- Erik Dahlstrom, Web Technology Developer, Opera Software Co-Chair, W3C SVG Working Group
