Hi, I wonder if we can move the section "Color" to a new module CSS Color Module Level 4. SVG2 has a requirement for CSS and CSS3 colors already. Browsers can not differ between SVG CSS and regular CSS anyway and would need to implement it beyond SVG. On controversy, if browsers can not implement it for regular CSS it is unlikely that there will be an exception for SVG. I think it makes more sense to ask the CSS WG to add the changes to their Color Module. Since Chris is editor on both specifications parts (CSS3 Color and SVG Color), it may does not make a difference on his work. And because it is part of SVG 1.1, I assume that there are implementations supporting this already. If not this will be a blocking issue for SVG2 in the long term. Greetings, Dirk
