XSD Component Designators -- Last Call Working Draft




Dear W3C colleages:

The XML Schema Working Group is pleased to announce the publication of a
Last Call Working draft of

"W3C XML Schema Definition Language (XSD): Component Designators."[1]

This document defines a scheme for identifying XML Schema components as
specified by XML Schema Part 1: Structures and XML Schema Part 2:
Datatypes.  The scheme is designed to work with either XML Schema 1.0 or
XML Schema 1.1 (a work in progress).  The WG has created this document
in partial fulfillment of its charter[2].

The last call period extends until January 19, 2009.  The working group
welcomes your review and comments.
