Fellow Forms TF members, It has been quite some time since the last message was sent to this list. I just want to inform everyone that the XForms WG is currently looking to how the form related elements and attributes of HTML 4.01 can be mapped to XForms. At the XForms WG, we are also looking on how we can streamline the XForms syntax. The streamline exercise has two main goals: - The first goal is to make the syntax easier for new users, and allow the addition of more advanced features in a more gradual way. - The second goal is to synchronize the syntax more with HTML forms. We are making steady progress and when we (the XForms WG) have something we think is worth looking at by the Forms TF we want to ask the opinion of our Form Task Force members about it. What do you think about this approach?
