Related to identengine.com, Glenn Jones also built a great node microformats + microformats2 parser: https://github.com/glennjones/microformat-node/ as well as a shiv version for use in the browser/extensions.

It’s a little out of date in some respects as the spec is fast-moving at the moment, but is still probably the most advanced and compliant mf2 parser around.
