Hi, The EXI (Efficient Extensible Interchange) WG initially contacted the CSS WG last Month with regards to our on-going work on EXI4CSS that is to represent CSS information in a manner that is both highly compact and amenable to efficient processing. We thought it is appropriate to write up something that gives overall idea about the motivation and what we did so far in a blog. Now, we published a blog entry [1] about EXI4CSS (and its siblings such as EXI4JS) to serve that purpose. There is also a set of slides [2] that goes over EXI4CSS work. We would like to kindly ask people in CSS community to take a look at the blog and slides. If there is enough interest, we are hoping the two WGs can work together in further developing the idea. Comments or questions are all welcome, both in emails and in blog comments.
