EXI is now a W3C Candidate Recommendation!

Dear friends of EXI,
 
If you listened closely yesterday, you may have heard a distinct "WOOHOO!!!"
coming from the direction of your nearest EXI WG member. The W3C advanced
EXI to Candidate Recommendation yesterday, indicating the EXI specification
is stable and ready for implementation. The EXI Candidate Recommendation [1]
is available on the W3C site along with an updated version of the EXI primer
[2].  
 
Thank you to all of you who took the time to carefully review the Last Call
working draft of the EXI standard and provide comments. We appreciate all
your help and feedback toward making EXI the best it can be.
