Important message
There will be a Technical Plenary in Cannes, France from Feb 27 to
March 3[1]. There was a desire from former participants of the QA WG
to meet at the Technical Plenary under the umbrella of QA IG.
I would like to know how many people on the lists would be interested
to participate to the QA IG in Cannes. The two days QA IG will be
open to the public. It's also an opportunity to meet other W3C WG
members.
I'm in the process of organizing an agenda. If you intend to
participate, what would you like to be discuss in the idea of the QA
IG charter.

The scope of the QA IG work includes:
* Maintenance of QA WG deliverables (erratas, evolution of W3C
Notes)
* Education and outreach which includes:
o Writing tutorials or helping groups to write them;
o Sharing experience in the area of validation;
o Sharing experience in areas of certification
* Tool development, through discussions with the W3C Systems Team
* W3C specification reviews. The QA IG will focus on First
Public Working Drafts (the time to provide incentives for QA
integration and to detect early issues), and at Last Call
* Tracking QA developments outside W3C
