Even though I don't even want to see the current administration's site I 
checked, they don't either:

Nor does the supreme court: http://www.supremecourtus.gov/

or the congress: http://www.house.gov/  http://www.senate.gov/  
http://www.loc.gov/

In the Netherlands does not validate:
the government site http://www.regering.nl the parliament site 
http://www.tweedekamer.nl the senat site http://www.eerstekamer.nl

Even the character-encoding is lacking in these sites.
