***Apologies for cross-posting*** We would like to remind you of the next ISKO UK afternoon event: HUMAN-MACHINE SYMBIOSIS FOR DATA INTERPRETATION a talk by David Snowden followed by a panel discussion 23 April 2009 - 16:30-19:00 VENUE: University College London, Roberts Building FEE: £10.00 (ISKO members and students FREE) Complexity science, strategic planning, organizational behaviour... these are just some of the fields in which Dave Snowden has made a name for himself. An outstanding pioneer in the techniques of knowledge management, he is also a master of rhetoric, guaranteed to captivate practitioners and researchers. Storytelling is not just his forte, but the essence of the art of narrative he promotes. On Thursday 23 April he will address us on the intriguing topic of "Human-machine symbiosis for data interpretation." Will we hear about complexity or about making stories simple?
