Hi Alistar, I also like this page you have written, and I am now reading the RDFa page... which I didn't know yet about, and seems extremely interesting to me.... we could actually start to implement such things in FAO in our pages of our document reporsitory, so that the web can identify authors of documents, etc. But, is there something already available that can read RDFa? if I have a web site with those, are there any browsers or browsers plug-in able to read these attributes and allowing me to do something (e.g. for example as you mention, if I have authors informations import those in my outlook? ) What we can do is to build an application that read a URL and build the RDF section out of the XHTML page... which may help on better construct the XHTML page... Similar to this that we have already http://www.fao.org/aims/tools/metamaker.jsp Still thinking to possible applications.... I know next to nothing about e-learning, but I though both SKOS and RDFa might have a potential impact there, so I tried to cover both technologies in brief. Here's the link: <http://isegserv.itd.rl.ac.uk/blogs/alistair/archives/84> If anyone has any thoughts or comments, especially on the RDFa bits, I'll happily work them in to the presentation I'll be giving.
