This is worth some attention. It bears some
similarities with SKOS, while also having syntactic
concerns that are under discussion via the RDF-in-HTML TF.
The notion of 'concept' here seem close to ours. From the
glossary...
concept:
Anything that one may wish to refer to, eg Diplomacy, Paris, the
Euro, OECD,
the Japanese language, the IMF, Oil, Madonna, Olympic Games. Thus
concept
here has a broader meaning than is usual. This is because we are
dealing with
the idea of Paris, rather than with Paris itself, the idea of Oil,
rather than Oil
itself, and so on.
There's also notion of a 'concept type' to group concepts together,
eg. those relating to a Person, Organization, Language, Business Sector,
News Subject, Geography. I'm not yet sure how this relates to the
grouping mechanism in SKOS vs the discussions we've had about
relationships between SKOS concepts and RDF classes.
The qualification mechanism (section 5.4.6) is also interesting...
