Some remarks on http://www.w3.org/2004/02/skos/core/spec/#secguidetables The first line reads : URI: The Universal Resource Identifier 1. I don't figure why one needs "The" article here 2. http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3986.txt expands URI as "Uniform Resource Identifier" So why "Universal" here? I know it is a common mis-expansion of the acronym, but ... More generally, it would be good to have the generic vocabulary borrowed from other RDF specifications specified as being used in the same meaning than in the original , e.g. Domain and Range mean rdfs:domain and rdfs:range respectively, "super-classes" and "super-properties" mean rdfs:subClassOf and rdfs:subPropertyOf etc. Suggestion : add a third column to the table "Reference" with the URI of the original Class or Property ********************************************************************************** Bernard Vatant Senior Consultant Knowledge Engineering bernard.vatant@mondeca.com "Making Sense of Content" : http://www.mondeca.com "Everything is a Subject" : http://universimmedia.blogspot.com ********************************************************************************** > -----Message d'origine----- > De : public-esw-thes-request@w3.org > [mailto:public-esw-thes-request@w3.org]De la part de Miles, AJ > (Alistair) > Envoyé : jeudi 31 mars 2005 18:11 > À : public-esw-thes@w3.org > Objet : SKOS Core Spec new editor's draft > > > > Hi all, > > New editor's draft of the SKOS Core Vocabulary Specification at: > > http://www.w3.org/2004/02/skos/core/spec/2005-03-31 > > This draft with some content changes in response to review comments from TomB > [1][2][3] and Mark van Assem [4]. > > Cheers, > > Al. > > [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-esw-thes/2005Mar/0042.html > [2] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-esw-thes/2005Mar/0043.html > [3] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-esw-thes/2005Mar/0044.html > [4] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-esw-thes/2005Mar/0008.html > > --- > Alistair Miles > Research Associate > CCLRC - Rutherford Appleton Laboratory > Building R1 Room 1.60 > Fermi Avenue > Chilton > Didcot > Oxfordshire OX11 0QX > United Kingdom > Email: a.j.miles@rl.ac.uk > Tel: +44 (0)1235 445440 > >
