Re: Good news for accessible digital publishing (and for this group)

These are both very well deserved awards. As a member of the jury for this
award (which I couldn't reveal until after the announcement), I want you to
know--Gregorio and Rachel (and Cristina)--that the entries were
particularly strong this year, and there were many of them, almost all of
them doing work deserving of the awards. That in itself is really good news
about accessibility. But there was very strong consensus among the jurors
that Macmillan Learning and LIA should get the awards. You are both doing
exemplary work--just what the awards are intended to highlight. I'm sorry
the LBF was cancelled so that you couldn't accept the awards in person.

Bravo/brava!!
