Update on EpubCheck TaskForce:

We recently closed the old Google Groups Mailing List for EpubCheck in
favor of a new one @ W3C: public-epubcheck@w3.org
This has been announced in the group with the following post:

TL;DR:
1. The EpubCheck Mailing List is now at public-epubcheck@w3.org.
2. Maintenance Release 4.1.0 in November will not yet contain EPUB 3.1
support.
3. We need volunteers and developers who work on the project and on the
codebase.

If you are interested, you will find more information about the topics
in the link above.
Note: The Call for help is an urgent one as the project is running out
of active maintainers after the 4.1 release!
