Re: [MINUTES] Moving EPUB through ISO discussion

We have a charter extension to the end of August, however we will also be chartering a maintenance WG in that time, so if needed, the maintenance WG can take on the task.

How long did we get a charter extension for? Was it 6 months? I am just wondering what kind of buffer we have to come to a decision.

Short comment : I do not believe the issues of moving to REC and to ISO are really bound. Only in one respect: to move to ISO the document MUST be a Rec. Otherwise the WG (or it's successor) can take this decision any time.

Hi all,

Here are the minutes from the call today, thanks to everyone who was able to attend.

We have made the decision to pause taking the EPUB specifications through the PAS process to ISO for the time being as we gather information on the impact it might have on areas like EU Accessibility. We will make a final decision once we have more information.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped with this so far.

Cheers,
Wendy
