Correction: September 13 Tzviya Siegman Information Standards Principal Wiley 201-748-6884 tsiegman@wiley.com<mailto:tsiegman@wiley.com> From: Siegman, Tzviya Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2022 9:51 AM To: public-epub-wg@w3.org; public-publishingcg@w3.org; public-publishingbg@w3.org Subject: Publishing Salon at TPAC Hello Publishing Activity! On September 8 from 8 AM to 12 PM, Pacific, the Publishing Activity at W3C will hold a discussion session on the future of digital publications with the goal of creating a five-year roadmap. This event will bring together the various stakeholders of the publishing industry: publishers from all segments, distributors, alternate format providers, retailers, reading systems developers, tool developers, librarians and education platform providers. With these stakeholders, we want to determine what the publishing industry needs to continue adoption and innovation in the digital publishing space. The Salon will be an interactive discussion led by Wendy Reid and Mateus Teixeira, available to those attending in person and those attending remotely. This session is open to members of the W3C as well as the general public. Please see https://www.w3.org/2022/09/digpubsalon for details. If you will be at TPAC in person, please include the Publishing Salon as one of your sessions when you register. If you will attend remotely, please choose the registration option on the Salon website. We look forward to an exciting session.
