Update on progress of Web Accessibility Laws and Policies on WAI website

Greetings all,

First, thanks very much for your submission to the Web Accessibility Laws
and Policies <https://www.w3.org/WAI/policies/> database, officially
launched in 2018.

Your contribution is important for us to be able to maintain current
information going forward and please know that we appreciate your effort to
keep us informed. As you probably know, WAI resources are created and
managed by limited staff and mostly volunteer contributors to the Education
and Outreach Working Group (EOWG.) We have not yet worked out the process
to fully vet and post submitted information to this Laws and Policies
resource.

I am writing today so you know that this is a discussion that is on the
agenda for a face to face meeting our group will hold on March 11th. We
wanted to be sure you know that your contribution is appreciated and is not
being ignored. We will send another update following the meeting to let you
know what process has been decided upon.

In the meantime, thanks again for your contribution and please keep that
information flowing. We appreciate hearing about new or modified
accessibility laws and policies from around the world. If you are in
Anaheim for CSUN, we will have this agenda item taken up on March 11th at
3:00 pm. Our meeting is open to guests and please let me know if you would
like details.

Best,
Sharron Rush and Brent Bakken,
EOWG co-chairs
