Dear all, Apologies for the long silence and tks Carsten for "re-igniting" this group. - Brainstorm about existing standards (both SemWeb-based and other relevant to the field): Great Idea - Brainstorm about use cases: Linkages with UN Global Pulse and its big data project could be something we can all look into. - Options for face to face meetings: I am in New York for a meeting/conference on the week of 7 October, would be lovely to catch up with anyone who is around. Let me know. - Organize a workshop at ISCRAM:As far as the organizing a workshop in ISCRAM is concerned, I agree with Hemant that CrisisMappers in Nairobi could be a curtain raiser and almost a litmus test for things that could be included in ISCRAM. The crisismappers conference will be organized in the UN Compund where I have my office - so more than happy to help. Tks - Virtual seminarBrainstorm on use case: I am game. If we could agree on a date and time at least 2 weeks early - will help everyone either to sleep early/late and wake up early/late :-) Looking forward to it.
