RE: W3C eGov Meeting on Open Data: 16 November 2012

Jeanne, Thank you and sounds like a great topic for a presentation from them
to inform us on what they are doing and how it helps us. Brand

Brand--

Great idea, and yes we are working together. Data.gov is a part of the
Digital Strategy, which is broader that just open data. We are working
closely together and sharing team members across the projects. As more of
the Digital Strategy implementation proceeds, you'll see Data.gov at the
appropriate spots, particularly with a focus on providing access to APIs
from across the government.

Does this W3C eGov activity relate to:
http://www.howto.gov/customer-service/digital-government-strategy-agency-mil
estones

and Owen's StratML to:
http://www.howto.gov/customer-service/strategic-planning ?

There seem to multiple GSA activities doing the same thing, so why not join
forces especially since you (Jeanne) work for GSA that does both Data.gov
and this?
