W3C eGov Meeting Invitations and Scribing (Eurasian meetings)

Hi all--

We have published the draft roadmap document to the wiki at http://www.w3.org/egov/wiki. We welcome your comments and suggestions. Please feel free to edit the wiki directly or send comments to this list or to Tomasz or Jeanne. I'll also be including this on our LinkedIn group discussion site at: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=1800648&trk=hb_side_g

Some of the concrete outcomes of these discussions will be a community directory, an eGov library, and other resources that would be useful to the group. More generally, we hope to build understanding and consensus on various aspects and stages of e-government, and on the role of web standards in developing and managing e-government systems.

As a note, there are two meetings each month, but they will each cover approximately the same topic but optimized for our members in different time zones.

You are welcome to attend all the meetings, however, you may just be interested in accepting whichever meeting invitation is most convenient for you.

Also, we will need a member of the group to help scribe each week. This is essentially taking notes in the IRC chat during the teleconference to capture the key points of the discussion. It's quite simple, but it is best if we rotate the assignment so that we share the responsibility of capturing the meeting notes. If you are able to volunteer to scribe for the next meeting (or interested for future meetings), please contact me or Tomasz directly.
